Checked the cabin filter today and it was dated 2021 so a new one has been ordered and I'll fit it tomorrow. Just trying to chip away at a few things to update the maintenance.

Hi - Ive had two garages take a look but both said they had seized so need to cut off the old and fit the new.

I can’t face having a wonky steering wheel anymore but unfortunately the track rod ends have seized so the need to be cut off and new ones fitted. What do you think I should budget for? £50 for parts, a couple of hours labour and then a wheel alignment?

Should the four bolts in the middle also have the rubber bolt rings fitted? They didn’t have them when they came off but I realised I have enough rubber rings to fit.

I followed this thread to do my valve cover gasket today. It was incredibly brittle. I ran the car for a few minutes afterwards and there was still a little smoke but hopefully just residual, and to be fair there may be other oil leaks anyway - this is just the first one fixed hopefully...

In my car I found the radiator mount loose sitting on the under tray. Maybe this bit is missing on yours?

I guess it can’t be reseated from above and needs to be done from below removing the under tray?

Hi. Found this rattling around on the under tray. Managed to get it out and the part number suggests this is a radiator seal. Any idea what it is and how urgent it is to get fixed?
