What engine is it, how many miles, if you're buying it walk away it going to be expensive.

Ive got a new iX3 and an M40i both cars log into mine and my wife's phones which can cause confusion, so far it's only affected the infotainment systems, probably more work needs doing on indentification.

These cars are nearly 20 yrs old they will sell on condition and mileage if you think a low mileage car is too expensive buy something else. Good E85/86 cars hold their value very well but are a long way from being rare classics, enjoy them for what they are.

The last car I sold was through Motorway, the highest bidder was the local main dealer group, the local BMW dealer has tried to buy my car twice, the G29 is in demand, especially M40i it costs nothing to ask them. The price will drop in September for sure, then recover in April.

Conflicting opinions here, has anyone actually changed the battery successfully without using dealer level registration

As you are getting so many electrical faults check battery voltage, a weak battery will cause this. Fully charged it should read 12.8v, 12.5v is marginal, when you start the engine the voltage drops and messes the electrics up, the alternator should charge at 14v, check the drive belt too. My...

Bought my First Z4 from this guy 2.2 as well, a good introduction to Z4s nice engine

For £30k you can buy a really nice G29 M40i it's just a quick and and cost a lot less to run than an Aston which needs specialist servicing and deep pockets. Z4 can be serviced by any BMW dealer or independant.

Prices for the M40i is very strong currently, there are few advertised if you are thinking of selling do it now you will get a lot less in September when the season is over. Production is over new cars are not available, good low milage cars will hold value well

We dont do cats, mice are a bigger threat chewing wiring.
