I'm a self employed technical illustrator, with a keen interest in cars.
My previous car was a Porsche Cayman, which I sold after a night time seizure forced me to surrender my driving licence to DVLA on medical grounds for 12 months. Prior to the Cayman I've had a selection of cars, including Porsche Boxster, MX5, MR2, but never owned a BMW (Yet!)
I'm now looking for a Z4, and have put a holding deposit on a nice example in Sheffield. However, I'm not in a position to proceed until my licence arrives, but the seller has been brilliant (and patient!) while I wait for DVLA to sort it out.
I thought it would be a good idea to join this forum, after a couple of recommendations from members on the Boxa.net forum. That has proved to be a good decision, from what I have seen so far on here!
Looking forward to some friendly banter, and a few tips to help with my upcoming journey - Cheers!
