Awesome thanks. I've put an aftermarket pioneer head unit in so it should have a remote feed on the back. I've already added door speakers but just lacking a bit of bass so this looks like the most straightforward option. Cheers Dan

Good work! How did you secure the under seat sub in place? And where did you run the power and earth leads to? Also does the sub restrict the movement of the drivers seat at all or is there plenty of clearance? Thanks Dan

No special tools needed for the coils. If I remember right just remove the engine cover and the coils are easily accessible. Unplug the old and pull them out, then install the replacements by doing the reverse. May want to do then one by one to ensure the leads stay in the same order. Dan

Haven't seen anyone properly smooth off the boot lock, but a few years back one of the guys on here made some body coloured lock covers. Will give you a rough idea what it would look like. I did buy a set from Sam, but never ended up getting round to fitting them. Here's the post with some pics...

I'd also consider changing out the ignition coil packs. I had hesitant acceleration, but wasn't getting any consistent error codes so wasn't sure if it was the coils or which one it would be but based on experience of other cars I've had similar issues with it was my first place to start. So...
