yeh upon inspection the cams have survived, a good friend of mine has a few s54s in his container with bottom end issues and ive been offered to strip and take a set from that so just now that might be the best financial option. never gave the oil pump a thought but would expect to see it across...

So it was all going so well but started hearing the engine getting quite "Ticky" relative to engine revs. Pulled the rocker cover and check all the valve clearances... Intake cam all within the 0.007" to 0.009" or 0.18 mm to 0.23 mm tolerance bar 1 that was marginally out. Exhaust cam, every...

That’s exactly what I used as well, never cut it down at the sides though. Functioned great but now looking at exit tunnels to try and create some downforce. Also need to add a wide naca duct to pull air out from behind the oil cooler as the temps were creeping up slightly Also, got a link to...

Spoiler is fully adjustable so can be moved to suit. Ahh you mean something like this ? Fairly straight forward to make and only required 2 holes drilling for rivnuts and threaded bar to support the front. Will be sealed with epoxy and painted. Still need to work out how to fill the gap...

So things have taken a another step along the track route and I’ve added a rear wing. Personally I think it looks great, might not be to everyone’s taste and have zero aerodynamic purpose but I designed the mounts myself so I’m happy.

Well another piece of the puzzle arrived today. 356x28mm fully floating discs by Godspeed brakes. These are a direct fit up the brembos with an extra 5.5mm spacer. Perfect fitment under the 18s as well.

They are the same 3 bolt pattern yes as I also have an e46 m3 strut brace that’s a direct fit but just touches my carbon plenum so it came back off. A shim on the underside of the tower might allow it as the tower tapers away so could ouch the mount over further. Nitron are in the process of...

Yes you are right but due to the shape of the topmounts and the turret when the topmounts is moved in the further point to gain negative camber the point fouls on the inside of the turret and does not allow the correct degree of negative camber

Thanks Vanne, I’m waiting for rear tower reinforcement plates to go inside the turrets, will also get a strait brace made for the topside to sandwich it all together. So the shifter does centre itself but I’ve found myself going 5th to 6th or 3rd to 4th a few times when coming down the gear...
