New Bosch S5 battery fitted. Starts with such vigor now. Then nipped for a wee drive with a pub stop. The old battery was a Genuine 2018 dated one but was not working as it should.

Nice car, I have have nothing to add about battery, but: I used to have a GTi cab in Paprika red, it was 2 owner, 90,000 miles and zero rust. They were so well made back then. It’s still knocking around where it was sold and still in amazing condition.

I know if you are buying new KW V3 they come with new front arb drop links. I don’t know about any other KW shocks though. So if buying new V3’s don’t buy any drop links.

I would say a total bargain. Great start point if like me you would want to do all the work yourself. I would have snapped that up myself.

Forgot to add these last week. Lady turned up to a local car meet in this Ferrari 250 California, 3.5 V12. Absolutely stunning.

Yesterday as I headed up the hill towards Christmas Common from Watlington a nice Maldives blue E85 was heading down. Both top down and we exchanged cheery waves.

Had a lovely drive to collect some brakes for my E90 and thought it rude not to stop at the pub for a pint.

I did my 330d clutch and flywheel in the garage on axle stands. It is certainly do-able (after all I did it) but it isn’t the easiest undertaking. That box is bloody heavy. Would I do it again on my Z? Probably (glutton for punishment).
