    Dreaded water in the car

Hi, As I said I'm not an expert. I took a few photo's to show what I did, roof partially open, the white cable tie points to the drain (downhill), which I cleaned with a pipe cleaner. Dreaded water in the car

Sounds possible, mine took about 3 weeks to fully dry out. I was placing tea towels and desiccant bags on the carpet, changed them twice a day until it finally dried out. I couldn't really get the air to circulate well with the top open because of the restricted car seat movement.

    Dreaded water in the car

    Boot lid lift G29

Sorry for the newbie question. Should the boot lift up more than a fraction after pressing the boot release on the key fob? I know I haven't got motorised boot lift, but I wondered if the gas struts should do more than hold the heavy boot in place when it's fully opened? Thanks Al
