I need to remove the flange to get at the rear bolt for the oil filter housing (oil leak) so I've ordered one as sods law means it'll snap and leave me waiting for one with the car off the road.

Great job you've done/ are doing on the car, as for how it now handles etc, it maybe no Z3 any longer but does it drive better than the car it was designed to replicate?

I have a noisy tensioner pulley bearing on my 2006 2.5 si and want to know if I can just replace the pulley? Thanks

Another bloody job lol Bit of a hijack here, but I've seen that the oil cooler cover is a bit of a pta to remove on the E85, any tips on removing it, I have an oil leak from either it, or the filter housing so will have to come off.

With the N52 using an electric water pump, why did they fit a thermostat? Couldn't the engine temp be controlled by switching the pump on and off as required?

The torx I was using was on the tensioner, to take pressure off the belt, not remove it. It was a T60, and luckily I had one, would have been nice if it slotted straight in, but that would be too simple, about an hour f'in about trying to get the bit to seat and 10 mins to change the belt, idler...

That only works if I have the correct size, some posts suggest I need a 60 which I don't have, I really don't want to go buying bits I will never need, hence the question

Changing the belts today but before starting I'd like to know the torx bit size required for the tensioners, I've bought the Halfords advanced set which go up to T55, a search online gives differing results. I'd like all the bits I need before pulling the fan off etc Z4E85 N52 2.5si
