Roof service past error A6A5 and trunk stuck open shells in but not latched

Yes, only when mechanically completely locked, trunk lid as well as the rear roof shell.
So where is the problem?
why, even before starting the car, flashing light for the roof?
is there any signal or voltage I should measure at the CTM to give indication of the problem??!!!
No fault code!!!!

As said several times:
So why it is flashing ...
Cause it's currently neither completely opened nor closed. It's in-between.
In both cases all 4 named microswitches have to be "locked".

The red flashing LED is only indicating an "in between" position of the roof, not more!!

So yes, currently it's indicating "everything is fine, but not locked". ;)

I noticed some oil on top of front roof shell.
Now I can see oil dripping from the right piston but not sure if it is the connection, hose or the piston itself.
Pretty sure a broken hydraulic hose.

What about this hydraulic topic:
  • Enough hydraulic oil in the pump's reservoir?
  • Magically solved?

Another question:
Were you able to reconfigure INPA to get access on the E89?
In addition, INPA presents a view of preconditions.
That might be just a configuration detail.

There is a config file called INPA.INI, where the different models can be assigned to the INPA main view.

These are the required steps:

I did check the level, but will check it again.

I wish I did not took it to that workshop, used jack to lift the shells from the trunk!!!!
Is it possible that the pump cannot raise the pressure due to either not enough oil or leaks in the hose?

I tried but could not reconfigure INPA, but I will try again after uninstall INPA and follow the steps you refered me to.

Generally correct, but
a) you can check the level visually by just lifting the pump and placing it on the battery. There are min/max markers on the reservoir.
Febi "ZHM" is the correct oil if not sufficient.

b) The two salmon relays are responsible to start the pump's motor. If they get not activated by the CTM, missing oil is a secondary problem.

It is over filled!!!! Should I empty untill it reach maximum level...

They are both new. I then reinstall old ones but no success so fit again the new relay's

I know you will say these messages are useless

I installed INPA and access the CTM.
What I noticed that when I press the open and close switches at the console, no activation to the salmon relays

I looked at the circuit diagram but cannot see any location of any fuse, not sure which fuse is responsible, because when I press I hear a click sound near the glove box and light stop flashing until I release the switch...

Yes, it's way too much!
As a maximum up to the top of the "MAX" characters, if a hydraulic component has been replaced and remaining air is in the hoses.
In all other cases only up to the upper MAX line. The empty top of the reservoir is required to vent the air out of the returning oil stream.

But, that is not a source of any misfunction in your case.
They are both new. I then reinstall old ones but no success so fit again the new relay's
New relays are ok, just read it in an older answer from you.

Yes, they are useless :) :) :) and represent only the current, nonworking state. :)

Great news, congratulations!!! Even it's in German, it may help.

Ok, that indicates the CTM has recognized a blocker.
There is a "state of prerequisites" page available in INPA, in German " Status Sperrbedingungen" according to the following example:

page 1
INPA_Bild2_Sperrbedingungen1.jpg

page 2

page 3

page 4

If there is a green arrow on the lower right as in the upper example, you can browse through several pages with the page down/page up keys on the keyboard. Prerequisites aka "Sperrbedingungen" has 4 pages as mentioned on the top. If there is any black bulletpoint except the almost last one ("checksum/Checksumme"), its' a blocker.

It does not show anything?

Did we already discuss / check the 4 window states?
Infos can be found in JBBF as well as in FRM3.

If there is an unknown window status, the roof movement will be blocked.

I'll be off for the next 2 hours.
I did checking in the morning before the sunrise so I can see the screen, in winter sun is so bright here.
I will wait till the sunset and check the status.
Thanks Robbi, your time and explanation is much much appreciated...

No we did not, when running it, it shows an error but I keep pressing proceed

I remembered the first workshop tried to scan the error and activate the rear lid, but he managed to raise the front and rear windows, did he keep one of the windows not fully closed that why CTM blocking the signals to activate the pump??!!!

This is extra, I also print all sensors states
