new stereo 1x din install

I've installed a jensen vx3016 and everything works but no sound. It has the adapters in there and someone said something about an amp in my truck(it's there) and this blue wire from radio, a white wire in dash. What do I need to do to get the sound out of the speakers? Thanks for your help!
