What have you done to your car today?

It’s a long time since I’ve gone silly speeds.
I will only push on when the RH Lane is empty.

What speed would you say was acceptable on the de- restricted sections of Autobahn - which seem tö be becoming fewer as years go by.
You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

Driving up to Lancaster and back this weekend on the M5 and M6 I have been surprised at how few drivers are going over 70 mph in the outside lane. Mostly the odd van driver. I can remember when, if I was going less than 80 mph an Audi driver would be flashing me to move over. But on a de-restricted road, for me, I would consider 80 or 90 mph to be a comfortable speed for a long motorway trip.
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

Put the Mrs steering wheel back together.

It’s not 100% perfect, but it’s a million times better and I’m very happy with the result

This is Matt black acrylic paint and Satin acrylic lacquer, by Plastikoat… not to be confused with Plastidip, which is the peel-able spray rubber coating which isn’t good for contact areas like steering wheels

Replaced the drivers wing mirror after being screwed and glued last year.

Fitted the light dome with LED’s as well as the footwells and glovebox. Also organised a tour with a few of our regulars, good fun
Four Alfa's and a Ducati later, I've turned to the dark side...

Thanks Andy, very happy with the wheel (Thank you) and the Mrs is chuffed to bits with how it’s looking… although she’s on a cruise ship with her mum so she’s only seen photo’s
