Slightly, but that’s part of the job. Thankfully the studio has a lift so we can work at a slightly more convenient height
Four Alfa's and a Ducati later, I've turned to the dark side...

Thanks! It’s a great mix of looks and utility
We combine hex-lights -used for texture checks (orange peel) and sanding- with localised spots -used for clarity and checking deep cuts- to get the best possible view of the paint. The hex lights we imported from China (rather than going through a local reseller) and the spots are also used to light up large warehouses. We use two to spot the flat surfaces, and two mobile ones for the sides.

Very nice
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

Todays upgrades will be a resonator delete for those pops and gurgles by supersprint, third brake light white edition from ecs tuning, and a full interior led lightening replacement.

Total upgrades $630.55

Hi, it was only the spring plates, rubber spring seats/mounts, washers and nuts that I bought directly from BMW, not the shocks and Springs, they came from AutoDoc.

I don’t think the pricing will help you much as I’m not sure AutoDoc will ship to the USA? They’re based in Germany, but have registered offices in the UK so we don’t pay import taxes.

Dropped off the Zandvoort-bumper for repairs. The fit of the replacement bumper isn’t up to par, and this saves me the trouble of measuring and cutting the rear bumper once the new diffuser arrives, which should be around next weekend 8)

Front adaptive shocks and wiring carefully removed and replaced with the Bilstein B8 front shocks, Eibach springs and all new spring plates, rubbers and washers. Rear next, but probably not this weekend as have other plans… I’ll start in the evenings next week.
