What have you done to your car today?

Had all the little dings and dents removed via paintless dent removal. Amazing the difference it makes, having little imperfections that have bugged me for years, now gone!

For anyone in Oxford area, Andy at Body Tech is a legend  He even found a load of little knocks that iI’d not noticed in 2 years. He was astounded at the paint quality for a 19 year old car and all original he believes, which is always nice to hear :D

Well done on getting those dents removed and I'd agree with him, the paint work is flawless on your car

I'd noticed that the standard silver steering wheel trims, when scratched, seemed to show a shiny surface underneath.
So I set to with the edge of a 2p coin and carefully removed the top coat from the three spokes. Takes a while as it's easy to make scratches.
Then I fitted a Mewant faux leather cover that I've had for a while.
Having fitted one of these covers to wifey's car, I was missing the extra bit of width (..................................... pause left here for Pondy to add a ribald comment  )
So my newly refreshed wheel is likely to stay with me and move from car to car as I buy/fix/sell.
With everyone going for the resprayed look I thought I'd go for something a bit different.

PS, yes I know the car is minging! Daily trips to the woods to run the dogs.

Looks great Martin - You'll be giving Royal Steering Wheels a run for their money! Very nicely done.

I finally got round to treating the Zed to new boots. Got rid of the old run flats and I’m amazed how different the car feels now! Service tomorrow so she’ll be ready for the nice weather (joke) !

This feels like proper performance mod now so I am excited and I am looking forward to replacing the dead lollipops bushings and having more steering rigidity. BUT that will probably not happen this weekend as I have to focus on painting calipers/brackets and finish taking apart the suspension to paint the uprights as well.
Gone - Ford Ka MK2 Petrol - Black
Will hang around to carry materials/people and in emergency - Ford Fiesta MK7 1.0 Ecoboost - Black, white rally rims, white decals, remapped
Now - Z4 Coupe - Montego Blue: Here

Oh I see, it’s a humidifier bag!! I first thought you were giving the car an infusion of O+ then considered an emergency colostomy bag (sorry, I appreciate its tea time)… well, we are all getting older and this could be a practical accessory!

Can I ask what the humidifier bags do?

My car has just spent the winter in hibernation so interested on the benefits of these.

As the sun was shining when I got back from the shop I got the Z4C out. Started 1st time so really looking forward to getting it MOT'd and taxed.
