19" Atomic CSL Alloys SOLD

I have decided to go back to OEM so I am putting my Atomic CSL alloys complete with BMW centre caps & ///M badges up for sale.

Front - 19 x 8.5 ET38
Rear - 19 x 9.5 ET45

I purchased from CM Wheels in October for £625. I wasn't keen on the Hyper Silver (Chrome effect) colour so I had the alloys stripped, power coated and painted by Primo Alloys which cost £320 + VAT. Before & after photos fitted to my 35iS are on this thread: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=92344

These alloys have covered less than 250 miles and are in very good condition. If I am being overly critical they do have a couple of small marks from a very enthusiastic tyre fitter/remover as shown in the photos but these won't be visible once your tyres are fitted. No kerbing or marks on outer rims etc.

They are sparklingly clean and sealed with Poor Boys Wheel Sealant for their new owner

Looking for £575 OVNO and collection from near Woking, Surrey.

nice wheels and a fair price.
Would have been interested in having a deal with you if i was closer. But I'm not. So I can't. :|
glwts

I was interested in these until I saw the price that you are selling for. I'm I missing something :?

You're basically selling refurbished wheels (albeit for cosmetic reasons and not damage, but with odd spots of small damage) for £50 less than they can be bought for brand new straight from a dealer :o

I would have expected these at less than £400 and I would have been interested (and I expect many others would be).

Another 4sale thread goes down the s4itter :|

Surely if you think they are too pricey either a) don't worry or b) make an offer? Pooping on the thread is hardly likely to get a low offer accepted :idunno:

I wasn't pooping on the thread, as I stated I'm I missing something about not buying these at this price?

If you would like these alloys in either chrome or black colour then please feel free to order from CM Wheels.

If anyone would like a 2 month old set in the silver colour I have had professionally applied for close to half the total cost then feel free to PM me. Thanks

Exactly Ewazix. People seem quick to judge on here and then voice their (in some cases factually incorrect) opinion.

These people also forget alot of forum members take time out & put effort in, to prepare, clean, seal (did I have to?), photo and advertise their item(s). What a waste!

As I stated I wasn't pooping on the thread, I was merely asking if I was missing something about not buying these at this price? I was not judging.

Maybe when I have sold items on here I have sold them too cheaply, as they have nearly always sold within hours or at least within the week. It will be interesting to see how quick your wheels sell, as if they are a bargain they will be gone before the weekend ends. GLWTS

I am in no rush but thanks for that :)

Rim dust covers on and all bubbled wrapped, ready for collection

I actually think the price is very fair indeed,

Its common knowledge that the wheels Chris sells are great indeed light, strong and good offsets etc but the weakness they do have is the standard paint finish isn't great and they also don't do a standard finish silver like above.

The fact that these have been painted properly and the finish will last years and years makes them a great buy in my eyes!

Maybe worth putting them on cutters too buddy.

Hi Ash - Thanks. They were painted by Primo who we all know are one of the best Alloys Specialists in Surrey. These alloys cost me £1009 all in.. I feel advertising at £575 OVNO is very fair starting price. Yeh I may advertise elsewhere in the NY.

they £500 at cmwheels

??? £625 Marius. http://www.cmwheels.com/index.php?route=product/product&filter_name=Atomic&product_id=1240

m3cutters price is £500 I believe

I don't get the purpose of your contribution... What are you trying to achieve? Do you feel I am trying to make a profit?

I sent the link (£625) that I bought from CM Wheels to Marius (as above). The before & after photos of the alloys being painted are on this thread http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=92344. I couldn't possibly be more transparent to any prospective buyer.

I have searched for the M3 cutters page and found this thread http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showthread.php?s=dbe381424bbaa5c87138a6a047ee0b9f&t=139210 which is NOT for Atomic CSL alloys :headbang:.. The offsets are completely different and clearly the cheaper non-branded versions (£520) from CM Wheels; http://www.cmwheels.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=60_67_71_308&product_id=964.

Hopefully this clears up any confusion and further attempts to find faults in my advert for what is actually a very good deal. :)

I didn't know there were different versions (as I suspect others didn't), so I've at least helped clear that up for you
