Traction control definitely kicks in, it's as if one of the rear tyres is loosing grip which is probably what's happening.

If you’ve got the m sport suspension you need the m sport fitment type springs or ride height will be off. Do you know if they were m sport fitment/type springs that were fitted or just standard suspension?

Just had my rear springs replaced. The one on the off side rear had broken - got to 113k miles, which is a good innings for these!

Just purchased a 2007 Z4 3.0si with 41,900 miles. No spring issue yet, is the 2007’s affected?

All the e85/86 cars are affected, although it's a BMW 'thing' generally on cars with the multi-rate springs with the thin 'pigtails' which seem to be the weak point. The rock-solid runflat tyre walls probably didn't help. My 2003 had a set or rears at it's first MOT and the replacements again a couple of years ago and its still only done under 50k miles! I'd be surprised if your 2007 hasn't already had a set TBH.
2003 2.5 SE, low miles, Sterling Grey, 108's & Eagles, no stubby here! Unmolested.

Normal service resumed, handles like its on rails. . Managed to get a refund on my non runflat Avon rear tyres, and bought a pair of runflat Bridgestone, which arguably I should have bought in the first place. Many miles of happy motoring, and planning my 2nd NC500. Highly recommend, it's simply EPIC!

Only had the car a couple of weeks and just fitted new discs and pads all round, noticed the nearside rear spring is broken top and bottom! I'm looking at a pair of sport spec springs from GSF (made by lesjofors), anyone used these before?

Lesjofors Sport springs fitted, ride feels decent and the height of the rear looks spot on now it’s settled. I might still swap to Eibach lowering springs at some point, but for now £67 for the pair of springs from GSF seems like a steal

My car had service yesterday and noticed an advisory for a snapped road spring on the rear I think. Can't say I've noticed but might have been like it since I bought it a few weeks back. Anyway without reading 52 pages what are the part numbers I need and best sport e86 springs that don't alter ride height?

Looking for confirmation...
I'm needing a pair of rear springs for my pre-facelift 2004, 3.0i SE. Just checking that the Suplex 06231 are correct?
Cheers

Looking through my MOT history both rears have gone twice (not in my ownership), once at 39,000 and the other time at 131,000, I'm now on 138,400.
