Lets see your Watches

Cheap and cheerful Citizen Eco-drive to add to the collection. Very legible and comfortable. As it's solar powered I can run the stopwatch as a second second hand with impunity :driving:

Why would anyone buy a watch when you can tell the time by looking at your phone?

Not a new watch but a new strap, I fancied an Erikas Originals strap but they are strong money for what they are so I took a punt on a similar one on amazon, I actually preferred the plain hook fastner to the Erikas one.

Fitting was easy and once you've secured it a few times it's easy and after a couple of months I'm still really happy with the quality and fit, it's really comfortable and holds the quite heavy watch well for an elastic strap.
Can't go wrong for £20 really and much cleaner IMO than a nato strap.

As an owner of the Sumo version of this watch, I'd have to say it looks great, wouldn't I? The dial is beautiful, pics never seem to do it justice

    My watch returns
After an absence of 14 months, my beloved watch has returned. It stopped working while on an automatic winder (no longer used) and I sent it for repair. Over the past year it has had more trips to Switzerland than I have but has now returned. If anyone is looking for an honest quality watch repairer, I cannot recommend Simon Freese (Southend) enough. It was not his fault the clean and repair took so long, as once Cartier got their hands on it, things slowed down. Delighted to have it back.

I picked this Tissot Navigator diver up recently, it's in fantastic condition and came with a full size bracelet. It's guarantee paperwork says it was sold in 1980 but I believe they were produced from 1970-79. Not sure the box is correct for the model but it certainly looks from the era.
It will be off for a service next week so that it's 100% inside and out.

Picked up my birthday and Xmas present from Kathleen on the way to the run in Wales on Friday. Very pleased with it, probably sits the best on my wrist of any of my watches. Made to commemorate the first man made vehicle to exceed 100 mph. I’m sure there’s some relevance in there  Free watch winder with it too so all good.
