What features would you have liked to see on the new Z4?

Personally I like the way some cars have those clever boots where you close them a bit and they finish the job... would be especially good on the zed, where I find myself trying to "flick" it closed using the handle, rather than leave fingerprints on the rear of the car.

Not fussed about MB "air scarfs" really... nice, but certainly wouldn't pay extra for them.

Have never likes indicators on mirrors, so quite glad they are not on there.

Anything else that would have been cool to have on the new one?

I was under the impression Ford currently hold the patent on that feature... not sure though, might be corrected on that one
 
Is the iPod integration standard? If not, that should have been.

I'll have to sit in one and play with it to see what options are "necessary" and which are just "wants".

Oh, and a COUPE would be great! :fuelfire: :D

You would think they would have added it since, iirc, they were one of the first to offer the retrofit. :-(
 
The torch in the glovebox would have been nice, and no matter how I try to re program it, the passenger window to have one touch close.

Oh and a leggy model in a short skirt would set the car off nicely :D
 
^ I'd prefer to have it as well, but definitely not a deal breaker.
With brake assist I found that I rarely used mine anyway.
 
The ability to fly the car so I could get out of traffic easily. :P As an added benefit, it would increase the life of the tires.

Not sure it's clear who holds the patent any more, but even if they did the manufacturer could license it from Ford anyway.

It would make a lot of sense in most markets.

The new Z seems to have most bases covered, not sure if there is much I would add. Maybe perforated brake discs on the 35i - I know they don't do much performance wise but they look great, especially on such huge rotors.
 
bluetooth for standard after spending £35k+, that really should be a no brainer particularly with the safety aspect.

cupholders? surely..
