Zedebee wrote: Wed Sep 21, 2022 10:33 pm A car garaged in the winter in Scotland will be just as good as one down south. Most of the salt they see is from the roads and I’m sure we get more of that down here. However one that lives outdoors on the coast and gets battered by storms and surf 200 days of the year is bound to suffer. Joycey restored a Scottish car (nicknamed Nessie, documented on another forum) which literally had barnacles growing underneath it.
Lol my motto is:

Don’t buy a Scotland car, unless you live in Scotland!

How's your car now, was stood under it a few weeks ago?
What do you mean mate?

Clutch and flywheel mate - shat itself whilst on track in Dijon. Had to get the car repatriated from France to RBM. Was a mission, but Ross and the boys got the job done. Day after the work was done I took it to the Ring and had a good laugh.

What were you doing down there?

That's the kiddie, I was down there while they were working on it. I know Ross well and often pop down for a chat.
