If someone paid even close to the money they were asking for that..... I need to speak to them about a bridge I have for sale
It would be interesting to know if it went for the full asking price or not. I guess it comes down to the same old it’s worth what someone is willing to pay, and in the case of this one, pay more than the retailer market average!

There are a few lower mileage examples on Autotrader for very strong money. This one has almost every option and only 28k miles - nearly £20k

47k miles, £16k - loving the interior colour!

59k miles, £14k - horrible wheels!

That first car is one for the collectors at that mileage. The second one should be priced closer in line to the third one, and the third one:

Yeah each to their own and that, but there are so many good wheel options for Z4's that were standard to begin with, why bother changing? At the very least he has the original according to the description.

The colour is brilliant, but I’ve got some reservations about the dealer. It looks like a car supermarket/finance farm and the description is very light on detail. It’s worth a look though, it looks clean!

I would say it’s about 2k too much given what I paid for my 83k mile example last year.

Thanks, weirdly they posted up a pictureless ad earlier today with it priced at £12900 then as soon as the pics appeared its £13500!

The dealer itself seems to have a stack of good reviews, but take your point it does look like a super market and its a good 3 hour drive away from me...

Yep, that’s a sport. It’s fairly low spec - no cruise control, no bi-xenon headlights, basic stereo. The satnav isn’t worth anything these days.

On the plus side it’s an E86 and it’s Monaco Blue, which is the best colour

It looks nicely presented, although pricey for the mileage, but that seems to be the market at the moment. At that price I’d expect 25k less on the odometer, even from a dealer; or you could haggle £1,500 off.

Either way, it’s never going to cost much in depreciation. Check that it’s been correctly serviced, good MOT history (indicating sympathetic ownership) and if any remedial work has been done (e.g. suspension refresh, ABS pump, water pump).

I'd agree with what others have said - at that mileage I'd want it cheaper than that.

It has the M-Sport seats and steering wheel but when I clicked on the "Specification" tab on the advert it mentioned 17" alloys, and I seem to recall the Sport models always had 18s - so it just might be an SE with some options.

TBH though the M-Sport seats are the crucial one! And the Sat Nav is very dated in its operation.
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

The wheels on it are CSL reps as well, those are 18s, so it may well have had 17s on at some point and a previous owner had them changed.

The dealer hasn’t put any effort into the advert so the wheel size slipped the net. Given that most of their inventory is vans, the car showing up there seems either a part ex or an auction purchase. I’d be checking the service history with a fine toothed comb!

Thanks, I think I am going to skip it. Seems pricey and some good learning for me on spotting the options

Sorry me again guys, this one isnt far from me, it says SE in the ad title but Sport in the description. It has I think the upgraded head unit and Xenon lights. Contacted the seller he says it is a Sport https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-detail ... 1271841911 I think those seats are M Sport?

If you enter the reg here: https://www.bmw-warranty.co.uk/CarDetails/Index it comes up showing it as a Sport model. I had the same issue with mine - it was listed on some sites as an SE but this site, and the original paperwork all listed it as a Sport model. Might be something to do with the late 2009 cars.
Looks like a good one to me - heated sports seats, xenons, low miles - and a fair price.

I agree, it’s basically the same spec mine is give or take a couple of aesthetic changes so I’m biased :D

It is fairly priced though given the current prices some places are asking!
