And another also without PDC but this time with proper tyres - obviously the fact these return less than 20 mpg coupled with the current fuel prices is bringing a few to market
Personally I prefer to attach a photo of the ad rather than a link on the basis the link always expires at some point.

Fair enough, but I can't help thinking that advert won't expire for a long time at that price! :o

I think it’s a fair point, if fuel prices do continue to rise then I agree, a few more cars will hit the market.

I’m lucky enough to have an MR and a 3.0 Coupe and I often toy with the idea of selling both and getting an MC but when I take the coupe out and get nearly double the mileage it makes me rethink that option! Also the prices and market for the MC seems to be a little fluid, a nice looking example with less than 80k sold on eBay last week for 18k - it was gone in 48hrs! There’s a nice black one on AT at 20k that isn’t moving so, like I say, the market is all over on these.

Coming from a C63, I found the M roady pretty decent on fuel. I get 27mpg combined average of the last 10 years. That's half urban, London! Don't hang around either, although it's difficult to make progress these days.

FWIW, my 118i B38 three pot does 32mpg average, going slower!

Member of the "M with no PDC" club here, but mine does have factory iPod integration so that's, err, nice?! :?

I don't think it's expensive, as long as the condition justifies it.

Compared with an equivalent M3, these cars are bargains. :)

It stops people nicking the steering wheel.

I don't think fuel economy is a big factor, when choosing an M you're comparing it to similar performance cars, none of which will be much better on fuel. We rarely see under 25mpg, usually a bit more.

Given how many miles a lot of these cars do, the £600 VED, insurance, and maintenance is probably more than the fuel cost. The wife's is still running on E5 we bought when the last fuel panic was on. :(

I used to own NC56 FRU a few years ago. Sold at 41k and I was 2nd owner. It is a cracking mint car and very well maintained. Defo recommend this. It had the CSL19's when sold with the original's thrown in the deal as a part ex'd at Hexagon Classics and was advertised with the 19's by them. It has some great photo's on their website previously sold cars. Good buy for someone - but a bit of a mystery why anyone would put on the run flats :!:
