Probably not a popular opinion on here but I'd much rather have PY than Sepang!

Mr Tidy, you are a blasphemer, the Sepang boys are coming for 😊 PY for me is too marmite however, the kudos of owning the only one in the UK could be tempting for some. 😊

https://www.carandclassic.com/car/C1424228 I haven't been following the roadster market but this seems very optimistic!

I thought I might get that reaction! I did actually meet 3 of them last year, but probably won't be invited again.

The Roadster in that link does look strong money even for a low mileage example, but I suppose the seller only needs to find one person who wants it badly enough.

Hey all. Thought you lot may be the ones to ask. I've been after a Z4M for a good few months now. Almost closed on a couple at around 18K before the sellers decided not to sell only to put up again with a bigger price :D

Anyway my budget was £18K and I wanted a car around 70k miles. I know of a couple of lucky guys who did so with private sales recently and with some nice extras thrown in. But realistically have I missed the boat? Even on private sales is this still achievable for a looked after car or do I need to drastically change my expectations?

Cheers all.

Welcome to the forum by the way.

You ought to be able to find an MR around that budget.

This one is slightly over budget but has less miles:-

This one is £2K under budget, but has 80K miles:-

There are probably a few more around - anyway good luck with your search.

Cheers Mr Tidy. I did fail to add it was the coupe I was after and that I missed out on. I'm looking at being able to stretch to 20k.
There are a couple of dealer ones out there. one with more miles and one with less that was bumped up to 22k but that one had a dodgy mot history. 1 owner but seems to have failed it's MOT just about every year running haha.

Hello and welcome Jack, have you seen this one on the forum? Bit of a journey but always worth the travel for the right car

Oh right - I think you are going to struggle to find a 70K mile MC for £18K based on current asking prices, but you never know what might pop up.

If a Roadster would fit the bill that one linked in Andy's post looks like a bit of a bargain for such low mileage!

I thought that one looked great, but then I wondered who would put run-flats on an M? :headbang:

Maybe the history would need some detailed checking as obviously one owner didn't quite appreciate what it was!

Strange to see an M with no rear PDC too. :?

But it doesn't seem dear in the current market so with some digging could turn out to be a good buy. Link to advert here:- https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-detail ... 20M&page=1

I'm not sure why it has a steering lock on it? Surely nobody will want it with the runflats?!
