Constant seatbelt warning light/beep even when fastened
Morning chaps. Gave the interior a good clean yesterday, including moving the seats as far forward as possible to clean behind them. When I took her for a spin a few hours later my seatbelt warning light/beep continued after I had connected my seatbelt. After about a minute it stops.
I got the missus to get in the passenger seat and not put the seatbelt on. As soon as the warning started beeping she connected her seatbelt and the warning stopped. I think it's definitely the driver side buckle sensor. Anyone fixed this before? Is it easy?

Sounds more like the passenger presence sensor rather than the buckle.
I'd have a look underneath and see if there's a loose cable connection.

As above, my bet is the passenger occupancy sensor, it must think there is always a passenger. Try plugging passenger seatbelt in and it will stop the beeps!

No definitely not the passenger occupancy sensor. Tried plugging passenger belt in and it still beeps/flashes.

Did you kneel on the seats when cleaning, or apply any pressure an certain points as this has been known to damage the occupancy sensor.
I would agree with the others that it's the passenger one at fault. Don't believe there is one on the drivers side for obvious reason.

There was a post earlier in the year similar to yours, see below.

Fixed it. There's a prong that sits inside the belt clasp housing. The prong connects to 2 wires and was hanging out of the clasp housing. I must have pulled it out when cleaning down the side of the seat. It goes through the rubber sheaf so I think I've tugged the wire when I've pushed the sheaf down!! [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]

I too had a similar issue, seat belt warning going off but intermittantly....Fault traced to muppet in drivers seat putting steering lock on passenger seat instead of floor, ....bloody sensitive those occupancy sensors.. ![Headbang :headbang:](./images/smilies/headbanger.gif)
