HI
IT SEEMS THE ELECTRIC OIL DIPSTICK IN MY BMW Z4 2.0 2005 IS NOT WORKING. COULD ANYONE PLEASE POST A PICTUE OF WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO APPEAR IN THE DASHBOARD AFTER PRESSING THE OIL BUTTON? AFTER I PRESS THE OIL BUTTON IT JUST SAYS OIL BUT IT DOES NOT SHOW ME ANY FIGURES THAT WOULD ALLOW ME TO KNOW IF THE OIL LEVEL IS FINE OR NOT. THEREFORE IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATE IT IF SOMEONE COULD POST A PICTURE OF HOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO LOOK.
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP.
KIND REGARDS

Re: CHECKING OIL
Check your manual, i'm pretty sure there are examples in there which should solve your problem.

Re: CHECKING OIL
It's just a diagonal box showing the level the longer the box the fuller it is. I also get an oil ok. If it starts to get low when you (either turn ignition on or off I can't remember) your oil warning sign on the dash will be yellow
