It's not exactly local, but it's not MILES away: Steve at Berkshire Motor Works in Sindlesham, Wokingham is brilliant.

Try Cooper BMW Banstead (see link) they were £10 cheaper than my local independent Germantech in Raynes Park and did a great job.

You can always get a price from a local indy and get your local main dealer to price match, they're usually pretty cool with that.
