I would suggest Tirerack. They will even ship your tires directly to a local installer.

Mark, You have the staggered set up correct? 18's ?

I'm looking for some new shoes as well, 18's. I have one extra criteria though. I want a national place for replacements if required and easy accessible in stock. I also want tires that will last more than 10k.

For me that rules out Goodyear F1's, fronts available the rears are not.

I have a price of $768 for Dunlop Direzza DZ101. ( for $100 for all four total you can get full replacement road hazard, not prorated )

I have a price of $1074 for Pilot Sports. ( encludes road hazard, however prorated)

Prices above enclude mount, palance and disposal.

I have not priced them at Costco or Tirerack yet, to have the others to do a price match.

That is where I'm at, hope it helps.

Thanks BoB,

I can afford? to look locally in SO Cal.

Tire rack is a good place and I will have to check into the Offsets.

Ya 17' rims is what I have.

From Tire rack for 18". 17" are about the same price.

I would invest in a Flatbed service to get your car to the HC.

Who's Woot?

When I ditch my runflats (eventually), I'll probably go with either the Goodyear F1's or the Kumho Advan Neovas.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=woot

1. woot 1980 up, 324 down

Woot originated as a hacker term for root (or administrative) access to a computer. However, with the term as coincides with the gamer term, "w00t".

"w00t" was originally an trunicated expression common among players of Dungeons and Dragons tabletop role-playing game for "Wow, loot!" Thus the term passed into the net-culture where it thrived in video game communities and lost its original meaning and is used simply as a term of excitement.

"I defeated the dark sorcerer! Woot!"

"woot! i r teh flagmastar!" (Think Tribes)

"Woot, I pwnzed this dude's boxen!'

DrakeZZ,

I've done the change from RFT to normal and my first try was the Bridgestone REO050A Pole Postition. They were a small improvement but still not great. It's one of the most highly rated tires on Tire Rack's review/rating page but I would not buy them for a Zed if I were you.

The PS2 Michelin's seem to be the hot tip with Goodyear F1's close behind. Don't overlook Kumho, I think Vroomer is real happy with his.

I recently purchased a set of used !9" wheels that had Falken 452's mounted and I'm real pleased with them even though they don't get much notice. They were a big improvement over the Bridgestones.

Hi guys...

was wondering what would be your choice for an all-season tires that can handle snow well during winter

Also, what does High Performance and Ultra High Performance mean?

Lastly, when I order from tirerack.com, does it mean that they have already given me the correct size of the wheel and tires?

thanks so much... and sorry for hijacking the thread
