Z4 wheel offset?

Post by jonnywells » Wed Mar 14, 2012 11:55 am

Im looking to add some 19" 313's to my Z and came across these on ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260974955595? ... 1423.l2649

Having a little problem figuring out if these are the right offset for an Z4 though

ET29 all round for non staggered
ET40 for the rears for staggered

This is quite useful to see the wheels and offsets

The key is the wheel width and offset - when you know those figures, there are several web sites that will do the calcs for you.

Your current wheels (294) are:
Front 18x8 ET29
Rear 18x8.5 ET40

The wheels you are looking at are:
Front 19x8 ET35
Rear 19x9 ET35

Sticking those figures in Here show the new rears would basically stick out an extra 11mm whilst the fronts would move inwards by 6mm.

Actually I think the 313's are

Front 19 x 8 ET37
rear 19 x 9 ET39 because they are wider on the rear the offset is greater

so they should be okay on the rear, but you will need an 8mm spacer on the fronts, wheels are listed here

But the wheels he was looking at on eBay are not 313s and have offsets as I stated.
