Throttle reset - great improvement!

On the back of reading this thread - THROTTLE ADAPTION RESET - I carried it out on my 2004 3.0i...

Car feels more responsive to inputs - it felt sluggish beforehand compared to how it feels now. But the main difference I've noticed is less jerking when changing from 1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd. Yes I've already removed my CDV which improved things, but resetting the throttle has improved this quite a bit more. Very happy!

If you've not done this before then I'd highly recommend trying it

Or just use the sport button? I don't mind the laggy response around town tbh
Certainly an option, but IMO it's a bloody sports car and we shouldn't need to hit a button to get the full effect. It should be the other way round: sport as the default and a town/city/girly (no offence intended!) button!

Does this work as well on a 4-pot? Not that I'm not happy with the performance of my baby :P

It works with any car that has Driver Adaptive Electronic Controlled Transmission. Unless corrected, I believe all Z4's have it.
