The election debate (ITV 3)

Post by Beancounter1980 » Thu Apr 15, 2010 9:15 pm

Woe betide me, what a mud slinging, self- appreciating, arrogant, banal debate..

Some mud-slinging, lots of hype talk, but seems no solutions or actions that need to be made.

Nick Clegg is taking the "holier than thou" stance, Cameron seems quite cold and impersonal, Brown just seems to keep chuckling to himself and interrupting.

Still no mention of fuel prices, ever increasing taxes and the like.

First I heard about the libdems receiving 2.5m from a criminal on the run.

God help this country...

I agree on the civilized part.

None can be trusted, but I honestly do hope by the end of it I am a tad clearer on whom I think is a worthy candidate..

I agree guys. It is quite civilised. They're all saying some things I don't agree with though. And whatever they say now, if they win and don't follow through on it, what's the point :o :(

I deliberatly did not watch it,, I like my TV too much to risk sticking my boot through it, I have no desire to watch a bunch of self opinionated scum bags out completely for themselves with no regard for those they represent, they are not worth the ulcer.
Nuff said from me

I have it on because it's a first in history, but like you, Taz x, I've got no idea what they're debating about now - because I'm paying more intention to this and the 'Net than the hot air. There's too much bureaucracy in so many things today - will either three lessen than and but the money wasted on that!!

Indeed, Mr Clegg has. Can I have a bath now - yay.

If Labour stay, I fear the bad will not change. If Tories and Liberal Democrats come in, I fear for some of the BS each of them have. It's swings and roundabouts.

Some great little smirks from Brown! He almost didn't register Clegg was even there! Cameron a little quieter than usual.

Any clearer? Not really.

Agree on Clegg.

Maybe we do need something "new".

Cameron mentioned coppers looking to buy a 75k Lexus, maybe he has a point. I saw a Jag XFR all striped up with lights on today. Was on M6.

My wife who is CID drives a shite astra though!
EDIT: Just spoke to her, its a shite fiesta with no air con and a backdoor that don't work.

She has yet to clock off, been at work since 8 today. Madness

Must admit the fleet looks impressive when they drive by. Often see the Evo followed by the 330. I'm sure there is/was black/dark blue unmarked Impreza about as well and that really looked good but cant find a picture of it. Once had the pleasure of tailing them down the dual carriage way out of town during rush hour. Pulled in to let them by and then dived straight back out and kept within just enough distance to stop other drivers returning to the outside lane. Bit naughty but got home well quick that evening.
