Driving along, suddenly yellow engine warning light. Power gradually reduced to only 600 RPM and 5MPH.
Managed to get home at that speed. Battery was poor so trickle charged overnight. Next day all seemed ok, a mechanic ran diagnostics and reset an error 2DD6. Drove fine for about 15 miles then power loss again and engine warning light on again. Left for an hour, started engine again, no engine warning light, ran ok but not for long. Now stuck in my garage and no revs, just stays at 600 RPM. Believe it's something to do with valvetronic servomotor.
Any advise welcome please.
UPDATE - exhaust and inlet camshaft sensors replaced. All seems well. In fact running smoother than it has done for some time.
