So her is the replacement for my M40i. It's Porsche AUC, 15 months old, 1 owner with 2,000 miles on the clock. Fully loaded by its first owner with £20K of factory options including GTS interior package, 18 way seats and ceramic brakes.
These four litre 718's offer a fantastic driving experience whether you are going along sedately or pushing on. Just returned from a 700 mile weeks break in Norfolk, the car was faultless and achieved a combined mpg of 39.5.

That looks epic.
Currently considering a Cayman to run alongside the Alpina (keeping the Alpina long term). Two of my friends run a Z4/Cayman combination and I’m seriously looking into this myself.
I had considered a Z4 Coupe to run alongside the Alpina, but fancy something newer to run alongside the 19 year old Zed

Stunning! I hope that one day I’ll be able to replace the e86 with one of those.

It is a very good combination, mine is the 911 and it is a much more comfortable long distance cruiser than any Z4, not to mention the road holding is also on a different level

Very nice and a great choice! I’ve been eyeing these up for ages.
The 4.0 GTS is the sweet spot in the range, 90% of the GT4 but without the attention and scraped spitters.

How do you like the 18 way seats? I have the same but it almost becomes an 18 way of getting slightly uncomfortable

This is the 3rd Cayman I have had them on. I find it takes a few goes at getting the perfect position but then it's set and memorised so I don't need to worry if the car goes into the dealers etc. On long journeys my wife finds the seat squab extension really useful.
