Hi
Probably a stupid question!
Today I closed the roof on my e85 using the lock button on the key.
Roof came up fine , doors locked but windows stayed down , they were all the way down when I started.
Is this normal/correct
Doesn't matter particularly but just wondered what was correct?
For info I don't know if the car has been coded previously for roof opening and closing from the key?
It doesn't open from the key

Any thoughts

They do sometimes faff about like that.
If you try releasing the lock button then holding it down again sometimes they then work.

Ok thanks
Its not something I normally do so just wondered what was supposed to happen.
I presume they all close from the key from factory?

Nope. Mostly open, but close has to be coded. Tbh, once you've stood there waiting you could be a mile up the road.

Ha yes probably..
Like I say not something I normally do so don't think I'll bother in future and stick to the buttons inside the car
