Reluctantly for sale... My Roadster S Lux #339 (on the Alpina register), now freshly serviced (major inspection 2 service at local indy specialist - all good) and new MOT with no advisories - plus new rear Michelin PS4... after a winter layoff.

This is a Roadster S lux, built 2005 in the original Alpina Blue colour (not many Roadsters in Alpina Blue around). 103k miles. Full service history etc (a mix of BMW and independent BMW specialist - have paperwork for everything and all service records intact... Everything that an enthusiast would expect to see).

I'm the 3rd owner, having owned it since 2011 at 43k miles. In great condition - 19 years old now and showing some signs of age, (e.g. some wear on steering wheel) but generally looking great and is running very well. Nothing spared when things needed doing (had the 'sticky steering' problem sorted a while back and has had new front shocks fitted recently).

Will be looking for offers ~£14.5k. Based near Cambridge. Sitting pretty in my garage and is available for inspection. The car is extremely rare and totally unique, there are hardly any around particularly in the original Alpina Blue colour. A touch of class over a Z4MR, the Alpina variant is smooth and powerful, with unique Alpina touches in the design and character.

If interested, please message me on here in the first instance, then happy to exchange contact details

It looks a cracker.
If I was in the market for one again, I`d certainly be asking for more details. And Alpina Blue is a beautiful and very rare colour, not available in either standard or M zeds.

For the first time in 15 years I find myself Alpina'less and there is a temptation to return to a Roadster S. If that temptation grows, I may give you a shout.

It looks fantastic in Alpina Blue - reminds me a bit of my Montego Blue Coupe.

It's great to see one that isn't Silver or Black, although I have seen a couple of red ones in the flesh.

Anyway GLWTS.
Coupes because stunning!

Only 167 Alpina Roadster S produced in right hand drive for the Uk Market, and only 15 in Alpina Blue… as pointed out already, no other Z4 variants were available in this special order (£expensive) colour.

Fantastic chameleon type colour that displays various shades in different lights . A bit like the Stratus grey of Blues.. anyone who knows stratus grey will know what I mean.

Cheaper road tax than an N52 engined E85 with similar servicing costs, and surprisingly economical (not much worse than a 3.0si in my experience) - so significantly cheaper to run than an M, but with very similar real world performance delivered in a more refined way

Bags of low down torque, and feels special every time you get in.

Someone snap this up, you might not see another available in this colour at a sensible price for years

If it wasn't for the fact that I really don't like the looks of the E85 (sorry), I would have that in my garage by now.

An Alpina is, as Martin eluded to above, a 'gentleman's M'; in any guise. This one is a pretty colour too.

Where's PVR ? I thought he was coveting a roadster S in this colour? :?
