My E85 in alpine white

Post by Z4alpine » Fri Apr 12, 2024 11:46 pm

Hi fellow Z4 owners,

I've had my Z for a couple of years now and thought it might be nice to share a pic. I originally purchased it to share with my wife but she's not really into driving, so it's solely my fair weather car. Ive since become a father so very rarely get to drive it, but when I do it's a lot of fun. Naturally aspirated straight 6, 6 speed manual and roof down. It's all you need on a summer's day. That said, even with the roof up it's a cozy place to be in winter.

The car itself is a E85 2.5i sport 175bhp. The usp I guess is that it's alpine white. Im into my cars but didn't consider a fairly ordinary colour such as alpine white as being anything special but looks like there was very few numbers sold in the UK.

The 2.5si will be a lot of fun. These are great little cars. I'd daily drive it if I was younger and keep a runabout shed for trips to the tip.
The only negative I got with it is the halogens and pesky SUVS blinding me at night.

Thanks. Yep its black heated leathers and black gloss trim. That's pretty much it for spec!

Welcome to the forum.

Lucky for you your wife isn't into driving so you get it to yourself!

For some reason Alpine White was a pretty rare colour on E85/86s in the UK, but I reckon at least half the E89s I see are White. :?

I am indeed. I probably spend more time cleaning it than I do driving it! Cheers for the signpost
