I’ve recently bought a 2006 E86 coupe that has the CCC nav and I’m wondering what are my best options for Bluetooth streaming music. There are various devices that plug into the back of the head unit but I’m not sure if having nav limits the selection.
Originally I was going to try a Connects2 CTABMBT009 or similar, but I’m not sure if it’ll work with the CCC. The advantage is being able to skip tracks etc.
There are cheaper options too like this on eBay

I’m using something from this brand in my wife’s E91 330i and it works well enough but you can skip tracks etc.

From experience, I'd recommend the bluemusic adapter. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bluetooth-Audi ... B0773MX7BG
My car didn't come with a CD changer, however the loom was present on the rear bulkhead, and so I attached the adapter there - there are a few write ups on here if you do a search.
Connects automatically, supports steering wheel controls, and audio quality is good.

Ive Just fitted similar this weekend, still early days but importantly audio quality is good (loads better than previous Bluetooth in the AUX socket i had which had a slight background crackle). Auto connects on start up.STC_Zed wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 11:18 pm I’ve recently bought a 2006 E86 coupe that has the CCC nav and I’m wondering what are my best options for Bluetooth streaming music. You cant skip tracks from the steering wheel, but i don't see that as a huge issue, as my Phone is on a magnetic holder on the air-vent by the light controls.
I purchased this one ; https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134914117715

I’ve just done some digging and found a thread giving instructions as to where the cables should be and how to find them. I’ll have a poke around tomorrow to see if I can find them.
