Cheers, Ady.

Nope, not really. Just thought I’d ask here first, if that’s ok with you? Someone may have a pair surplus to requirements?

Cheers, Ady.

Facelift front fogs

Well good luck, but I doubt you'll find any decent used ones given how they always deteriorate and all E85/6s are over 15 years old!

But I suppose someone may have bought new ones and never fitted them before selling their car.

I think I'd have ended up replacing mine with blanking plates if they had got too bad as I don't remember ever using them, but thankfully I don't have them now!
Coupes because stunning!

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it may be a long shot, but if you don’t ask you don’t get I guess.

I can’t seem to find any aftermarket front fogs anywhere atm. I don’t have the funds for new genuine. I’m sure I saw a decent second hand pair sell on this forum not so long ago? Also, I didn’t realise there are blanking plates available. I’ll see if I can search them out. Might be an option.

Cheers, Ady.

I'm pretty sure some models of E85 had the blanking plates because front fogs weren't standard fitment.

If you don't use the fogs it is a permanent solution, because even new ones will go the same way as the originals. :(

Thanks again Mr Tidy. I’ve found that the blanking plates are still available, and cheap enough. Obviously they will need painting but that’s not too much of an issue. I’d like to keep the front fogs though if possible because it seems like the right thing to do to me, even if they aren’t really any use!

So, if anyone has any please get in touch…. 👍🏻

Another option, but not very oem, is to open them up, clean out the horrible flakey reflector material, paint the inside black then fit LED DRLs. Took me a couple of hours and about a fiver for the LEDs.

Always happy to help if I can.

If the forum helped you, why not help the forum back. Thats the Z4 way!

Struggling to find these on eBay or anywhere else in stock.

Could you find the eBay item number by any chance please?

Not a bad shout. Trouble is I have one good one and one flakey one so wouldn’t mind swapping out the bad one properly for now. Just struggling to find them…
