Bought a 2005 z4 2.5 new for my wife. Now she prefers to drive an suv so the z4 has become my car. After nearly 20 years and 125k miles, it still looks and runs like a new. Have had the usual ailments along the way, but have been fortunate to find excellent independent techs who have been honest and skilled. Car is sterling grey (with a light beige interior) which I admit I’ve grown tired of. I look upon the rare green z4’s with envy. Looking forward to learning from other owners on this forum.

Looks good, especially in the sunshine.
Does everybody in the US have huge garages? It certainly seems that way to me! :D
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Thank you. I think the car looks really good too and the styling has held up but surprisingly can’t remember the last time it’s received a compliment.

Thank you. Being original owner is helpful to proper upkeep. I have had three dimples from road debris (likely stones) and fortunately a terrific guy who makes them totally disappear.

Hi, welcome to the forum, Sterling grey is my favourite colour for the E85, I can't stop looking at mine  :driving:
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

Oh I agree, a great color. After 20 years though, would welcome a change. Bought a toy a while back and it’s a really nice shade of green/teal with tan interior so my color thirst was quenched a bit and will leave the z4 original.

Hi and welcome to the forum! The sterling grey ones age well but then I’m heavily biased.
