Half Cover advice needed

Post by RAYK47 » Sat Feb 24, 2024 1:37 pm

Hi all

Looking for a half cover for my 2009 35i. Doesn't have to be one someone is selling but can be a recommendation from Amazon etc.

My car is parked on the road so don't really want to spend a fortune in case some hoodlum decides to interfere with it.

It's pretty urgent as the leek is still present and at least this will help until it gets sorted.

Thanks in advance

If you have a leek in your roof, I suggest some weedkiller or pay a Welshman to take it away. Alternatively, I can recommend ukcustomcovers who provide an excellent cover for E85. I believe it fits E89 too (at least, E89 is illustrated if you search for “BMW Z4 half cover”.

Thanks.

There is a very tiny leek in the driver's side rear window. But during heavy rain it can be quite bad. Hopefully getting it sorted in a couple of weeks but this will help keep the car dry inside until then.

Bought one of these a few weeks ago (they are both the same just different prices).
Really like it; takes about 30 seconds to put on and get off and you don't have to wrestle with it as it's small and lightweight. Easy to store too.

I paid £51 delivered from 'Classic additions'. Came in two days too! :)
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

Thanks B21.

They are taking their time with mine. What date did you order yours?

I ordered on the 25th Feb and so far i have only had one email saying the sale is confirmed. No dispatched email or anything. I emailed them for an update but got no response.
