BMW Wheel Style 515

Post by Gwest44 » Fri Feb 23, 2024 5:48 pm

Just stumbled across these and it looks like they didn't appear as an option until the 2014 MY catalogue - they were then only offered on the non-M Sport car's.

The bmw Style wheel 515 is available in diameters of 18 inches and are staggerd wheels. This wheel is the original wheel style for the bmw series Z4 E89, however it might fit other models given the specifications match below with the replacement wheel sizes.

Be keen to hear an opinion from anyone who has them and a photo on the car would be great

Interesting..not to my taste, but please don't flame me!

As you say correct offsets and widths..

I do wonder why the brochure shows them as options on 18i/20i/28i but the pic shows a non E89 or maybe if it is a 35i? :tumbleweed:
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
A very modified Atacama Yellow 35is

Found a '64' plate on Autotrader that has them

Can't decide if I like them - they look a lot like the the 294's without the split rim bolts and I know I don't like the 294's.

I've never seen those before but they are certainly different!

Like you I'm not sure if I like them or not.

I have the 294s and I think they look ok on the E89 and whilst these are similar somehow they don’t look right.

I quite like those as they are unusual.
Couldn't help noticing on BMs options page that the same wheels cost more for the cheaper cars. They don't miss a trick! :o
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!
