Hey all
I finally found some decent used OEM bi-xenon headlight assemblies. I think they each come from different years, though, and I'm wondering if you guys have any insight about this.
My passenger side headlight has a 2012 sticker date on it, but the driver side sticker was missing. I noticed that the passenger side projector seems more clear than the driver side projector. Did BMW make these projectors with some variation?
The other thing I noticed is that the passenger side has hex adjustments and the driver side has one hex adjustment (lower part) and one with no hex or phillips adjustment on top, but just the black plastic "hex bolt" on the side. Perhaps the white adjuster broke off?
I still have a window of time to return the driver side if it sounds like it's problematic to you guys. The lens is very clear, though. It's just the internal projector lens seems slightly opaque or something, plus the adjustment issue.
I'll attach pictures shortly.
Thanks!!
