Bit of key dilemma…
Ok, so I’ve lost the key to my Z4C.
I have the spare, but the battery has had it. Luckily the car is unlocked and starts.
But what do I do?
I’ll need to buy a new key and have it cut, but what about programming as the old one doesn’t work..
Any suggestions Z4 Forum?
I’m in Surrey if anyone knows of anyone who can help.

The old key may recharge with use in the car. If not you could try a tooth brush charger as they have been known to revive a key.

Speak to The Master Locksmith about getting a new battery in your remaining key. When I had one done it came back and worked without any need for pairing.
Then you can look at getting another to match it.

Sadly the toothbrush charger did it once and then it died.paddy wright wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 8:33 pm The old key may recharge with use in the car. If not you could try a tooth brush charger as they have been known to revive a key.

Ok, update. Main key found. Master locksmith from my other thread contacted about replacing the battery in the spare.
Cheers all
