If you have packets of crisps or similar savoury snacks in the house..go and check the 'best before' date and work out which day of the week the date will be. Post back with the day, I think you will be surprised.......

They tend to start their batch run on a Sunday, and as it's simpler to have the same BBD (and batch numbering) printed on the whole batch, they simply use the last day of their production cycle.

Well that didn't go very well did it?

ALL crisps and derivatives seem to have a best before date which is always a Saturday!
If it's due to production run dates, as said above, I find it strange that all factories have the same production schedules. I don't know how many factories there are in the UK producing this stuff but there must be more than one!

I thought it was interesting......obviously I'm in a minority of one, again!
