Welcome to the forum, don’t forget photos please the car not you
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

I joined the forum to seek advice from those in the know, my 2016 e89 2.0l has recently developed a screech when i start it up on a cold morning of which there have been many here in Scotland this last couple of months , i keep it in the garage but nevertheless it screeches when i switch the ignition on in the morning , it only happens first ignition of the day and only on cold mornings - so far.
Under the bonnet is a mystery to me , i love driving my Z4 but how it works is knowledge that i do not have.
Anyone have any ideas , the car was new 2016 its done forty six thousand miles.Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the forum Terry.
Sorry I can't help with your screech as I've only had E86s, but hopefully someone will have some ideas.
And don't forget we like to see photos!

As quoted by your good self verbatim recently:
"Very helpful. Thank you. "
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Not so sure about you recently, though.
