All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

I asked him specifically if there was any sign of water in the boot
"No. Dry as a bone"
35mm of standing water in there. So much I had to siphon it out before attempting anything else.

He stated is has the top end stereo so I asked him if there are speakers behind the seats.
"Yes there are"
NO THERE ARE NOT. Basic six speakers.

He stated the car is immaculate and the best anywhere.
And yet the offside rear light lens is cracked. A very expensive problem to sort out.

I asked him to keep an eye on the battery during the time it was waiting for collection.
Second start and showing low battery. I just hope the battery isn't knackered!

It's a pretty colour though! :x

Yes from a forum member. Lots of pictures and seemed a really good guy.
I have bought many cars like this and always got what I was expecting, until now!

Answered first time denying everything. Now no response.
Pointless me saying anything...private sale. I like the car just wouldn't have paid so much for it

I guess therer's a good chance the water got in through the cracked light, so only one fault in effect.
Stick a new battery on as a matter of course and hopefully all will be well.

To be fair when someone says anything is 'the best they've seen' is very subjective.

One mans mint is another mans ok.

Water's coming in the other side, I can tell. Lens is only cracked, not letting water in as no condensation in there.

No doubt he'll have winter hibernation issues, his phone will get lost, run out charge, sim card issues. Get ready for a list of excuses as long as your arm. :x
