Hi everyone
Just bought a z4
Not sure how it happened but my son wrote off my mx5 and here we are.
3.0i manual and I love it
Sound generator mod already done sounds great
Car was a bit unloved when I got it but I thought there was a good car hiding underneath.
I'm sure I'll have a lot of stupid questions in due course as I try to bring her up to spec.

Welcome to the forum and Z4 ownership.
A manual 3 litre is a great choice, and it looks lovely on those 107 wheels - no wonder you love it!

Welcome aboard! Keep your son away from the keys, these young ones are not used to rear-wheel drive.

Thanks everyone
I'm pleased with the car generally and I really wanted this spec with these wheels/engine/manual box and colour.
It was tricky to find a car with everything I wanted.
Roof motor already relocated and working so that's a bonus.
There's a few niggles that I need to sort
Roof is stained only faint but bugs me
Drivers door handle sticky
Water in the car and the boot
Headlamp condensation/refurbishment
Its had paint on front bumper/wings and bonnet which now I've polished it , its not the best .
But nothing major
Only big issue is it won't fit in my garage which is a shame I thought it would but obviously the mx5 was a lot smaller
It would go in but its mega tight and I think I'd probably damage the car at some point so it'll have to stay on the drive.

Probably...but you can always just ignore them if you do.
