I really fancy an Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio....
Keep going - we're looking forward to reading about it.

Those Alfas do look good though - maybe you've been looking at Pistonheads? https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/top ... &t=2067897
They do look nice but I don’t think I could live with the front number plate off centre. It would drive me up the wall
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

Cut holes for the lights and side vents today. Temporarily fitted. Rears are waiting for new lenses to delete the MGB reflectors

Starting to come together! Reminds me of my best mate in our late teens, he decided to build a MG Roaster V8 (I believe they never built one, the MGC was a coupe). So he bought an old tired MG roadster and an ex Police Rover SD1 V8 (just for the engine and the brakes). A new heritage shell and off he went. The engine went to Oselli for a rebuild and a dirty big Hemi carb arrived from the States, so over the next few months it took shape, a lot of it was built in his bedroom and then we would manhandle the bits down the stairs (including the engine at one point). He had to design new engine mounts and weld them, pretty impressive thinking that only a couple of years before his only technical experience was making a spatula in wood work!. It was finally completed, and painted in Tartan red and was very quick, as he put his foot down I kept thinking back to the spatula, but it kept together!

Where is the protective sheeting before you put that paintwork on the ground :poke:

Nice bodyshell shape though (minus the scratches underneath)

Whose legs are wrapped up in the grey plastic sheet under the wheel barrow? Is that what you meant when you said you sold some of the body parts from the Z3?

How are the body panels going to be fixed to the existing structure ?
Is it a nuts and bolts job or resin and matting?

.
The whole lot has to be sanded back and filled, sanded and filled, then other shite put on before it can be painted anyway. It's got huge lumps of grp all over it at present where it came out of the moulds.
A few minor scratches ain't gonna make any difference at this stage.
