Exhaust Mods Z4MC

Post by unique233 » Fri Oct 06, 2023 3:06 pm

I know this has been talked about in various forums, after reading a lot of views I decided to take the plunge and ordered the SuperSprint centre pipe.

After some fun fitting this over a weekend cutting rusted bolts etc its now fitted and my MC has a lovely rasp to the exhaust note, with zero drone, very happy with that mod.

Now I wanted a bit more noise too, so I have sent the rear boxes off to MOD-STOCK for them to be modified for a more straight through design, internally its like an S bend at the moment, so will report back when I fit these as one thing I didn't want was any drone, speaking to Chris at MOD-STOCK he has assured me it will be fine, we will see and for £430 it seems a reasonable price for the mod compared to aftermarket rear boxes and keeps that OEM look.

Nice work, if only I was handy with welding! What was the sound like in the end?

Nice with the hood down

There is a little drone with the hood up it could be a few things diff, tyres, exhaust, etc but it is there.
