Engine Idle Problems with a tish of AC trouble
I have owned a Z4 for about a month and a half now, and I have been having issues with the engine idling the whole time. In the mornings the engine struggles to maintain a consistent idle and while I was troubleshooting my AC only blowing hot air, my engine RPM was dipping considerably. The picture shows the engine RPM and where it dips when I turn on the AC. Could the two issues be related? Any help would be appreciated.

Switching on the AC will put an extra load on the engine, the car should sense this extra load and should up the revs automatically.
Have you taken the Idle Control Valve off and cleaned it out with carb cleaner spray, they do get gummed up and can stick. Once flushed out with cleaner it should rattle when you shake it which will indicate the internals are free to move.
