Any help to assist me would be greatly appreciated. Posting pictures on forum no worries but I'm told my picture for the thumb nail is not compatible? I don't deal with technical stuff very well and haven't a clue that yhis means?
Thanks Tom

From memory the thumbnails have to be a specific size and ratio so you'll need to edit the pic down accordingly first.

I seem to remember finding a photo shrinking app on the Internet.
Basically it was select the photo and select pixels / size and save the result

I will try and have a Look on the mac tomorrow

Or if on a mac
Select Photo > Edit using Preview> Tools > then size the image.

Ive just done this on the iMac and it works a treat

8-11kb file size ..no bigger than 120 by 120 pixels jpeg format

Just did mine - it's actually Maximum dimensions; width: 200 pixels, height: 200 pixels, file size: 49.00 KiB.

Really easy to resize a picture in Windows too, just open the image in photos, right click on the image, click 'Resize Image', then you can type in the pixel width, it'll auto size the height, and then you can use the sliding scale to set the image quality (and file size) so it's within the above parameter.

This thread made me finally get mine sorted

Wow, this topic has got some traction since I've been away, some great tips and idea, I might risk wasting another hour of my life to attempt again.

Thanks for everyone's private messages of help, much appreciated.
I'll try the send a small photo to myself and see what happens, l only have a tablet and mobile but hopefully possible.
