Hi everyone,

Have just picked up a 2004 3.0i Manual which was left sat on the previous owners driveway for a year. Slowly working my way through the usual issues, hugely enjoying the car.

Looking forward to being part of the community.

Bottom is how she was found to top two now. Had to replace the original rims as they were totally goosed, same for suspension so replaced with coil-overs and dropped. Needed new tie-rods as they had seized, then needed alignment. Changed most rubber gaskets and o-rings in the intake manifold, but turned out to be manifold itself leaking so replaced that. Was a bit rough starting at first but cleaned the IACV and that sorted it. It has a few dings and scratches and I need some decent rims and tyres, but absolutely love driving it.

Yeah it was.

I also had the classic pre-face sticky steering, so I spent an hour lying in the driver’s footwell swearing.
