Each to their own.
I really don't like driving convertibles, I've decided. But I won't be showing my wife that post! :)
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

MikeyH wrote: Wed May 31, 2023 11:32 pm Oh my god Pondrew, you seem to make everything so difficult. How about a taxi to the seller. How much would that cost factoring in the fuel driving home compared to some unknown bloke driving your new car making a detour through McDonald’s drive through for lunch
Trailer Mikey. It's not going to be driven! :)
Part of the appeal for delivery. Not putting 150 miles on it to get it home. I have a bit of an issue with mileage.
And I didn't make it difficult, the other feckin idiots did by being complete cockwombles :headbang:
Oh, that’s a better idea then.
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

I always thought part of buying a new or used car was the drive home.

Not for me! I look on it as a chore. I like to get a new car and give it a good 'going over' before driving it. I also like to 'get to know' a new car on familiar roads; don't know why.
I am a little 'different' I know that! :)

I'm with you Eddie. The reward at the end of the search. Train up, meet and finish off the deal, then head home of on a mix of A and B roads getting fully aquatinted with your new motor.
